Well, I've been asked by Carol to make this thread, so I'll follow the rules.
I'm in Newark, NJ. I've been hunting for about 2 months only, one day I found a good deal for a 202 Pioneer, man..., 104 bucks with 2 years warranty...., time to check that one on my bucket list.
So, that's how everything started, hmmm..., not really. So many years ago I was in Peru and a friend wanted to go hunt in places where you need a buddy watching your back, it was really exciting. I never forgot that experience. We went back home with some silverware we found hidden in the ruins of an old brick oven. Some locals were getting too close to us, it was time to take the treasure and run.
Now I already got my second detector, a T2. I'm old and my legs are not the same but I'll probably be hunting the rest of my life.
I'd love to hunt with you guys, I checked the club websites in NJ, they look more like a social thing and less hunting, I don't know. Rather form a little group of friends sharing this great activity.
