So today found my first bullet casing marked WRA 45 A and looks like a sideways c anyone have info on anything like it. I found on a beach here in Hawaii and down the beach was some old military bunkers

All military caasings I have found starting with 1883 have a date stamp on them. Would love a picture to give you an idea of what you have

Yeah I forgot that during WWII they had the year stamped on them. WRA stopped in 1945. I'm sure they still did some that year.

Another pic it looks like a 9mm round but from what I could find about wra I didn't see any hand guns just shotguns and rifles

Looks to be .45 acp. Date range is hard to tell..would need to know if the headstamp is written W. R. A. or just WRA. If it has dots after the letters then it's around 1939-44. Without dots, newer than that.

It has the dots. I found in spot that I would've never suspected finding a fired bullet there could've b
een fired during the pearl harbor attack. will never know.

Interesting. Never thought of that (Pearl Harbor) although I think it is unlikely many 45 rounds were fired that particular day? Dunno?

True but if all u had on hand was a handgun I would be firing away with it

Agreed and they very well may have. What a heartsinking feeling that must have been to see those planes fill up the sky. Very sad.
