Boxes of Coins?

Hi. I was wondering what i ask for when i go the bank i ask for a box of pennys and when i got it home they are from 2007. I want to buy boxes of coins but i dont know what 2 ask for. Where else can i buy boxes? And what should the boxes look like? What are the prices for them? Any help would be nice thanks

Chris, I just go in with $25 cash and ask for a box of pennies. And make sure to get rolls to re-wrap them.

I just ask for circulated coins. Sometimes they have both brand new pennies and circulated pennies. Other times they only have one or the other. They order the coins from the Fed IIRC. When the Fed's supply of circulated coins cant make the demans, thats when they ship the new coins.

Ask for rolls. My son went into the bank and got 10.00 worth of pennies for a school function. We found 4 Wheaties!
