I found a 1954 dime today in the give a penny take a penny bowl.
I spotted that dime from 6 feet away.
What have u found?

We had moved some dirt around at a friend's old farm. After a hard rain, I returned to look things over. had found a few wheats by eye. Seeing a coin about 10 ft away I thought it would b another wheat, but was a 1905 Barber Dime!

I ate and was having a few beers a while back at the local pub. When the bartender sat my change down I new I had a silver dime before I looked. The bartender comented how my eyes lit up before he could move his hand. I've been collecting coins since I was 6 and know that silver sound...like a doggie hears his food hit the bowl.

Silver Canada mackeral dime

Love those penny dishes, always exchange my zinc for coppers,
Pulled a commemorative 90% silver from one once!
also a blackened silver rosie, can't find that pic.
HH to all!

old coins in odd places

Once I found a 1939 walking liberty half covered with grease and grime in a box of old car parts & nuts/bolts at work. :D
