Well, after another inch of snow yesterday and 13 degrees this morning the sun warmed things up to 35 today. This winter has been one of the worst I can remember in a long time. The sun was warm enough to melt the sun off a local soccer field so I figured I would go up and give it a try. After 4 months of nothing I was happy just to get out and swing. I ended up out for 2 hrs and surprisingly took in $2.87 in clad, a 1920 wheat, and a 1956 Wash Quarter. This is the 7th silver coin I have taken from this field over the last 3 seasons. That came in at a solid 90 on the AT Pro and was about 5 inches deep in sandy soil. Im pretty much a clad and jewelry hunter and have been very successful each season. That being said, Its always nice to take in some silver coins throughout the season.......HH !
