I tried a new beach and was nearly skunked. But it was a beautiful cool morning, and I couldn't have enjoyed myself more:

nice pics btw. gotta love those bald eagles!!

lol, i'd much rather be "eagled" than "skunked" ANY day, haha! :giggle:

it looks like a nice spot and you enjoyed yourself and that's the main thing! great photos! thanks for posting.

Those views are better than the local parks I hunt. I'm jealous! The grass on the other side looks promising!

As for the bald eagle, she just wanted that fish in your first pick

Nice looking beach. Could it be its taped out this year already? If so hit it the day after Laborday next year.

Last place I went was up Peru Creek Canyon near Montezuma Colorado. Used the crevice sucker and found some tiny bits of gold with it. The views were awesome, really awesome! I will definitely be going back. Had both the Minelab 705 and a Bounty Hunter with us and never touched them. Sometimes you just have to look. Saw a couple places where rocks were piled up for a foundation or fence or something half way up the hill, looked like a good spot to swing, next time. There is always next time.

Very nice bird, we have a pair of Bald Eagles that live on our lake. We also have a pair of Ospreys on the lake down by the dam where I work. Both are beautiful birds, they are so cool to watch catch fish.
