Possible Civil War Bullet need I.D.

Met up with a buddy today and we hunted a civil war skirmish site, I think it's a .39 cal but not sure, and not sure what its called, it was found the the Confederate side. I don't think you guys can see the rifling marks but there on it. Thanks

Accurate dimensions would be nice and do the pics lie but is it a jacketed bullet? Looks like it especially in the first pic. If it's jacketed then it's not CW bullet as they didn't really come into use until mid 1880's.

Agree with Voriax and have to add. Would be daring to claim this bullet came from the Civil War era. Had been in use for much much longer time than 5 years.
