Recent IHP and Token finds

I've been out a bunch in the past week, mostly in Foxholm, N.D. at some old lots and the remaining right-of-ways. I've been jonesing for a Barber of any denomination so I have been hunting a lot of older spots. Instead I've dug a couple nice IHP's and a couple old tokens. I found the Kenmare token in Foxholm today. Kenmare is north of Foxholm about 30 miles.

Nice! I never saw the back of an older Canadian cent before, it looks similar to the wheat penny.

Tundra, you never disappoint when it comes to beautiful patina’d coins and awesome token finds! Congrats on the lot, love the tokens but those coins really are pretty too!

Thanks Smirk! You'd be amazed at how many old Canadian coins I dig up here. I suppose it helps being right near the border.

Thanks GS! I try to find towns and yards that have the best chance of coughing up such finds and it seems to be paying off rather well recently. I did however just recently get permission for 7 or 8 real old yards that only gave up 2 later wheats total.......so I do strike out from time to time.

Congrats on the Ihps, tokens and old Canadian penny TP. With those old finds there should be a Barber silver in there somewhere. Good luck. Mark

Thanks Mark! I got a 1936 Merc out of there as well.....kind of wish it had been about 30 years older though. I thought for sure with all the old ground I'm hitting I would get a Barber in there somewhere. I really can't complain though with the IHPs and tokens I'm finding.
