When combing a K-Mart parking lot with a detector this morning, I came across the clip on the left as well as the dime and pennies. The clip has an 'ear' on the opposite side as well, with a embossed feature of a deer (buck). I'm just not sure what it's off of. Watch? :?: or some sort of strap or belt?? :?:

Ed: Thats what made me think it might be a part of a watch band, My Seiko has something like that, but it's about twice as long and has a full flange on both sides with several holes. Maybe someone has a watch band with a clip like this.

booker: I could take another pic or two, but the picture here was taken with the all the rest of the finds we had today, so enlarging it anymore causes some blurring.

some of the newer baseball type hats have a buckle that you pull open, adjust the hat and then mash it back down. looks to me like that is what you found
 
Its a size adjustment buckle off a jagermeister hat.

I assume that "jagermeister" is some kind of beer?
