Found this religious medal in a park in The Netherlands. According to my research, it's a "Sacred Heart of Jesus" medal, and has "Our Lady of Mount Carmel" on the reverse. It appears to be silver, and IDs as such on my Minelab 305. My question relates to the "C" near the depiction of Jesus (lower right, when looking at that side). Any ideas as to what that means? Thanks for looking.

Might be Creed..

They might be the most popular makers out there for sterling religious medals...

I posted one that someone I'D for me last week...its the sacred Heart (jesus) on one side and madona and child on the other. Wikipedia has a page about the history of this.

It may stand for "Chapel Silver", a designation used for authorized religious medals.
