My son Jason is at it again. He was detecting in an old California gold mining town near his home, using his new Whites Treasure Pro detector. While detecting beside an old foundation he got a loud silver signal about 9" deep. Carefully digging down through the sand, he came upon a large piece of plate window glass, and only an inch under it he unearthed this 1896 Morgan silver dollar! It was dirty but in pristine condition, having been protected from moisture over the years by the glass. That Treasure Pro is turning out to be a great machine for him!
