Back on March 07, 2013 I found a "dateless" penny -- was certain it was a WHEAT penny. That much I was SURE of. But the front was so covered in green that a date couldn't be gotten from it. Well I have 3 or 4 pennies like that and thought I would try to CLEAN them to SEE if I could get a date on at least one of them. I was successful with the one from March 07, 2013. Pictured below is the original picture of it and the second picture AFTER I "cleaned" it some.

Nice job!

Thanks. I'm always leary (sp) of trying to clean coins. I've cleaned some and it just made it worse where you might have a "partial" date and cleaning it took the "rest" of the date and left you with nothing! So I was happy to see a date on it and just stopped.
