I forgot my good luck charm I wear mding!
First thing I found was an aluminum horseshoe I stuck it in my back pocket thinking it would have to substitute for my charm I forgot.it only worked half way!
I found half a gold ring appears to be gold clad, a barber dime that had been toasted in a fire some point in it's life.
But a cool button I think is civil war era ,Lots of bullets and brass buckles that I think are harness buckles, and other misc. stuff.
Also 1939 nickle,1902 V nickle,1900 Indian head penny,1956 wheat.
oh well half good luck is better than none....:D:foottap:

If someone could give me some heads up on the button civil war or not.
I think it was a union uniform button not sure though.
It was found in central western Illinois.
