A few weeks ago, I went to the beach and as I walked to the waters edge, I found a wash out of small rocks. Hhmmm, seemed interesting since I was not expecting much that day.
So I turn on the excal and checked the rocks real quick. Out came the large crusty spoon pictured. "OK", this could be a good spot. So I walked into the water and by the time I got to about 3-4 feet of water, I was hitting targets all over.
I couldnt go one step with out hitting another coin. The area wasnt very large but I spent all morning just clearing out as much as I could find. Flipping between remote PP and digging anything repeatable. With that came over 70 coins, 3 pocket knives, 2 Wheaties, a Merc and 4 Rings!
2 junkers and 2 gold. The first was a nice 1955 10K Class Ring (too worn to know which school) and the other was a nice 1930's 18K white gold cameo ring.
Needless to say, it was a great day and one to remember.
