Here is a find i made today ,it appears to be a crossbow bolt.I found it on a field very close to an extensive roman settlement area.It seems to be bronze ,and has four recesses,at the tip end.I believe these help it to rotate as it travels through the air for more accuracy. It is 8.5 cms long and 14 mm wide.It has iron staining at the end and is not socketed.
Can anyone help.??
