Mixed Mode on the DFX

In playing with the preset programs I have discovered I am very partial to the RELIC program. It just feels right, and I get that connected to the ground feeling. I have tweaked this program as per suggestions read on line to get more depth. So far so good. Anybody else using this or a variation of mixed mode? What are your thoughts about using this on coins? Any secrets to getting the most out of this setting?

Have you tried the HI PRO program? It's a lot like the Relic program but a bit more tamed for coins and jewelry. Still hot but not as susceptible to iron. It's very sensitive to small targets. Great for itty bitty jewelry. I found the clam clasp from a necklace the other day and it took forever to find the darn thing. The sound was so good I was looking for something much bigger.

I also dug a lot of those little metal eyes used in tennis shoes for vents from the football field.
