i done some research

i did a little research... its pointing toward ww1, because of the diameter. mine is 7/8 ww2 buttons of this type were 1 1/8

Fairly sure it is a 1902 type button, leaning towards First rather than Second WW.

I found one of these my first time out, but it definitely wasn't in this sort of condition. From the research I've done, I'm pretty sure it's a WWI.
