Hi,
Got a 6000 Di Pro detector. yeah...it's old, but this baby really performs! Found lots of nice things with it. Had the stock 8" coil, but water got into it from a small crack in the bottom and it has not been able to ground balance. I opened it up and found moisture still inside, dried it, but it still isn't working right. So, I found a like-new 11" White's coil that will work with it. What can I expect on performance? I'm assuming it will go a bit deeper, but it will be a pain in trashy areas. Anything else? Thanks. __________________ |

Well, I guess I'll answer my own post.
I have found the only drawback to this larger coil to be the weight. Get tired a little faster than I did before. However, I can cover more ground with the larger coil in the same amount of time. Have not seen any performance issues in trashy areas compared to the smaller coil. I have not noticed any more depth than the 8", though. __________________ |
