Hi, I have a 360 degree pinpointer. Please advise me of a good pinpointer that detects with more of a straight beam. Thanks, Don

If you mean a pinpointer that only detects at the tip then that would be the whites TRX. However whites went out of business so they’re not made anymore. Also even though the trx is advertised as only detecting at the tip there is an area up on the shaft near the LED light that also sets it off.

Don, I just checked ebay and didn’t see any trx’s for sale. There were a few whites bullseye II’s for sale. The bullseye is not the same as the trx. I don’t think I’d get one of those.

Garrett has acquired Whites.......so maybe.

Thanks for the replies.I think I'll just get the Garrett as they seem to be the most widely used. Only problem is that there maybe some fake Garretts out there!
