New to using the T2 LTD SE. Would like some advice on settings & reading for silver coins & gold jewelry. Ground balance is usually between 63 & 70 where I usually hunt. Thanks in advance for your help.

T2se in my soil:
Silver quarters - 90
Clad quarters - 89
Silver dime - 84
Clad dime - 83
Nickle - 57
Copper pennies - 83
Zink pennies - 77
IHP's - 75
Gold readings vary depending on gold type, size and shape.

For coins and jewelry I normally use 4 tones with discrimination set between 40-50.

For relic hunting I use 2,3 or 4 tones (depending on ground conditions) with discrimination set at 7-10. I always run the Gain as high as it will go without a lot of chatter, usually between 85-95.

I have a NEL 5" x 9" coil and that's all I ever use on it. It's an outstanding machine....
