High tone, like brass. Circular, 1.5 inches in diameter. Distinctive geometric pattern, but no writing. Can anyone tell me what this is?

Pocket watch back or half of a women's make up compact? Possibly was lead filled at one point and was a rosette? Hope someone can ID for you, HH!

I agree with the idea of a rosette, as there seems to be two spots where an iron loop rusted off from the back, and maybe some remaining lead in the back that kept it from getting the green patina that the front has.
