Lead from car battery maybe?

Found this yesterday. Heavy for size, shines where I scratched it with a pocketknife. Guessing lead from a car battery? Maybe 5" long.

Not battery but could be lead flashing used on roofing

Lead sheeting like that was used for a ton of different things, without context of where it was found it's pretty much impossible to say. It is still used to this day, although in fewer applications.

On the site of an old schoolhouse
