Detech ultimate 13 now waterproof? For minelab fbs...

I have the white ultimate 13 for my etrac. I bought it several years back, pre-owned. It's my choice coil UNLESS, if the grass is wet, it falses like crazy.

I see that the newer ultimate 13 coils say "waterproof". Is this true? Can anyone verify from experience? Does the color (white or black) make any difference?

I had a coil that would do that. I got a tube of black polyurethane sealant from the local hardware store and sealed where the wires went into the coil. It completely stopped the falsing caused by dew on the ground. I wouldn't go in the water with it though.
