We made a trip to the “ManCave” today for some Excalibur II repairs.
Ken’s excal had a broken wire somewhere right where it comes out of the housing – our local go to guy VaBeachRon fixed him up as lowtide tim and I helped – helped as in held excal and.
Took longer than we expected so we missed the lowtide at the lane and we ended up on the bay at east bleak beach. We all dug some targets, but could not get into the water…..northeaster is still cooking.
No ctx3030 testing today – on the bay she runs GREAT AND SMOOTH. Even in the water and waters edge
Hunted in auto +3 – low trash – pitch hole – 4 unique tones – I like the plan of being able to make the tones whatever - I have pennies HIGH…..clad lower and to the left, two lower setting.
This exchange deal is really kewl once u get the hang of it – I like it.
The lane did produce some yellow today – the surfline was a buzz with reports.
