Default AT Pro Coil Question???

Before I ask my question, I want to go on record and say, "I realize the ATP is not the most suitable machine for saltwater."....

Going to be headed to Delaware in the AM for a work trip, Bethany Beach area, and plan on doing a little detecting if the opportunity presents itself.

My question to any ATP user, or anyone that has advice, is which coil is more suitable for the beach, 5X8 or stock? I'll be hunting mostly dry sand. I use my 5X8 99% of the time. Really great for wading through junk, iron, etc...

I only beach hunt a couple of time a year and have never tried with a 5X8. WV is really short on saltwater beaches...

Thanks to all for any advice/ recommendations...HH

I've had luck at the beach. The larger on will cover more ground quicker. You can always change it out !

The PRO works beautifully in dry sand, use the stock coil to cover more ground
