Honker....18 kt???

Here is my best find to date!
I sure hope this is the real deal but i have my doubts as it looks to be plated.
I will have it tested but can anyone tell me what the stuff after 18kt is?

Oh yeah this is my 1st jewelry with my new AT PRO and it rang as a solid 90 about 4 in deep

Hate to burst your bubble but HGE is heavy gold electroplate.

Sorry, but HGE stands for Heavy Gold Electroplate. The U iwth an arrow is the manufacturer, in this case Uncas Mfg. Cool ring anyways though!!

Yepper...bummer I know all too well. I've found 2 of those plated suckers this year.

I have three of those honkers...HGE blows, but still gives ya a nice rush every time! We will eventually get the real deal!
