I have to give a two-minute speech in my college speech class Friday. It is an object analogy. Could a speech about collecting coins and how they represent me work? For example, "Pennies are my favorite coin to collect because they are not seen as being very valuable, but they still have a purpose." The class already knows I collect coins. Is this do-able?

Two minutes is not very long at all, specially if you begin your talk with an appropriate joke. Something like:

"You can always get change. except from a vending machine." :D
