Went door knocking

Went out detecting tonight went to the oldest church in town knocked on the door guy comes to the door I ask him for permission to detect he say there is not anything out there but go ahead look if you want so I start swinging penny here penny there than I get a silver signal up comes a 1917 mercury dime then a couple wheaties then an 1893 Indian couple more copper penny's as I was walking back to the truck I get one of those low grunt signals I always dig the low grunts hoping for jewelry and pops out my first v nickel a. 1905 I hunted for about an hour tonight and a good night it was

Awesome hunt! I love those dark green Indianheads!

I checked out a church in a small town that dated back to 1912 today. I noticed quite a few dead grass areas that were obvious plugs and noticed there wasn't a signal bit of metal in the ground anywhere.....Needless to say I think it's been hunted to death.
