I have a silver and turquoise ring I bought in Colorado several years ago that was made by a Native American craftsman. It only has a scribbled engraving on the inside of the band. I actually bought it directly from the man who made it.
Nice. Tough to tell from pictures, but kind of looks like it's hand crafted, rather than mas produced tourist stuff. Any tool marks, usually easier to see underneath. Could be worth way more than melt.
It should be against the law to melt something like that. If you could attribute it to a certain craftsman it could be worth a pretty good sum of money.
