Brass tip?

Found this "tip" for lack of better description. Center in pic. Looks almost lathed. Fairly thick and heafty. Any ideas? Thanks.

So here are my thoughts...
I don't think it is a Soldering Tip.. I think it would have threads on the inside.

I don't think it is a Field Tip to an arrow.. Most that I see have a few knurled lines to hold it to the wood.

I'm thinking it is more along the lines of a match or tooth pick holder tip.
