Definitely looks like text on the bottom. My guess is it's a medal, but clean it off a bit and see if there are any additional details (including any inscription that may be on the back).

Ran it through a few filters on my photo program.
Definitely a sports medal. The lettering at the bottom seems to read
LIRA ## AGTO## or
LON###ADTC#
LIB###ACTO##
LIH###AUTO###
One of the letters looks like an upside down D but could be a G
Possible combinations
LONG DISTANCE
LONG JUMP
LIGHT (something)
LIBERTAD AUTO something)
Sadly I need a better picture... but yeah, filtering light exposure and amping contrast I got this:

I thought it might say ( 18?? AD TO ?)
DOWN AT THE BOTTOM
and more writing up top. I was just wondering if someone had seen one b4 or if it might be a common item. and a good picture of one can be found online?
