Too hot to hunt, so decided to do a little test of Equinox v3 update. The real test will be out in the field and switch between multi, 4Khz, 5Khz on deep targets to see how the real world works.

Those numbers can change because of soil conditions in different parts of the country.
I spent 5 hours in a park. Ran mine factory preset and didn’t touch a thing.
In multi my numbers were more steady with slight fluxation.
Penny’s 21-22 in 4 khz.
I. Copy and past below.
3.0
I did 3.0 today.
Deliberately did factory reset. Park1.
Then I tested it for 5 hrs.
Deep silver (quarter)faint in multi with no TDI.
Went to 4 khz signal Loud and clear and a solid 29.
(Dime) the same test and same results
Went to 4 khz loud and clear and solid 24.
I’m wondering I’d the 4 khz is in multi ?. I’m guessing not.
Also with 6” coil pinpoint seamed much better. Everything was within the diameter of the coil.
So far I’m happy with 3.0. I’ll bet it a killer on the beach.
Also multi seamed more stable.

Thanks for the reports. The jumpy vdi's was one of my dislikes about the nox. It almost makes me want to try another one.
