hi,
i hunt freshwater mar to dec. 2-3 times a month, 2-3 times a year i go to the ocean.
i have a ctx 3030 (yes im keeping the ctx) but i feel that i might do better in water with a strictly water detector.
i have no backup detector i sold it to a friend.
i'm looking at garrett seahunter ll or a minelab excalaber ll . i am open to ideas on other brands of detectors also.
any and all comments on type/model are also welcomed. :D
under $2000ish.

thank you all for your help

the sea hunter and excel are not comparable because they are 2 different technologies. I would go with the Excalibur because the salt water beach you would probably hunt would have a lot of iron
