That crossed my mind as well. But pretty sure it's a suspender buckle.

Doesn't compare to what was found a few feet away :)...

It has to be a suspender buckle. It broke off, pants fell off, coins fell out!

Ha I'd like to take credit but it was my dad that hit the 2 silver hole. He also swung over a 57 flying eagle cent later. Only an Indian head for me!
