Hello boys, I found this piece on an island uninhabited in the Bahamas next to these pipes smoking are bronze like medal . I want to know which country belonged or if it is a family shield, not find nothing.The medal is the size of a tennis ball. Please help me. Greetings Frank

After some research the coat of arms for the Sir name Griffin is a griffin with a knights standard on water surrounded by sunrays. Here is an example.

Since the Sir name Griffin is a Welch/British/Irish name, and the Bahamas was settled by the UK, it makes sense.

I will keep looking.

I found this piece close to cuba, in a part where he lived the last days of his life a pirate named William Hastings, that what I found with guns and a portable Cannon, that's my curiosity. So you see is one of their robberies to a British ship. Please any information would help
