Had 45 min to hunt before picking my son up from school. No where to go save for the local park, it’s been a ho-hum park, no good finds and not many finds either. Detected there many times with lack luster results. But, not many places to go so decided better to swing 45 minutes over the grass ball field than to not swing at all.

Sure am glad I did go! Found the 1921 silver (75%) 10 Centavos Filipinas/US coin first. Wasn’t sure what the heck it was when I pulled it out of the dirt but then could tell it was silver and small! Pretty cool. My oldest coin now! First silver coin in a long long long long long long time.

Shortly after gold in the hole! Dang, couldn’t believe it. Been awhile since I pulled gold out of the dirt.

4.6 grams of 14k. My first 14k of the year, my other 4 golds have been 10k for some reason! Unfortunately got nailed by a mower before going under, I tried to straighten it out and it came apart at a solder joint a bit. Interesting marks as it is stamped in two places 14k and the hallmark looks like a G(heart)L.

Pretty dang cool!

Happy hunting folks!

Big Congrats on the silver and gold! Finding gold ring is always a blast, but that old silver is the cherry on top. You had a great day!

Cherry for sure thanks Beep!

Wow awesome results in just s short period of time, congrats!

Thanks, I had figured on the 31¢ in clad, that didn’t surprise me and would have been a more typical hunt, somehow got lucky with the feet and coil today.

I wish we all could have a 45 minute hunt that gave that kind of return! Congrats!

They’re like a blue or super moon, or comet visit... thanks!

Right one there GS!!!!!! Good use of time:grin:

Thanks man, lucky day for sure, thanks again and take care!

Man, way to go! Gold out of the hole is something else. I just love the feeling I get (for days). Awesome!

And super sweet to double up with some silver! That's a winner day, for sure!

GS I'm impressed how well you do with your compadre!!! Congrats!

Thanks Metal! I was digging a lot of iffy signals today, and I don’t recall either of these being “great” signals, so take that into consideration I guess... glad I dug them, would an Explorer have given me a better idea?

Not many of those coins show up on here, great finds all around!

Thanks Z! Never know what your going to dig up I guess!
