It’s been a week of firsts for me. I’ve been detecting ten years but only in public places. I’m too nervous to door knock. Found my first Merc today, a 1936 in the sidewalk strip. Great day.

Nice Mercury dime! Don't door knock, approach people who are out in their yards and strike up a conversation. The majority people are going to say yes if you ask them in nice way.
