I made a few setting changes on the EQ 800 today, after watching Gigmaster s Utube videos.
I went with field program 2
Managed to find 6 wheats, 1917,1919, 36, 41,45,53,
1920 d Merc dime, 77 cents clad
18 total coins today,
and a lucky coin token .....
Red Ryder lucky coin..... (1938 ?)
Thought I'd share some of the trash finds too, two old forks, a brass ornate gas valve, part of a pocket knife, draw pulls,
3 eyeballed golf ball finds makes 8 for the season.
It's been a late start, on the season so far,& the weather just doesn't seem to cooperate...

Great mixed bag hunt. Congrats on the silver and wheats. I really love the token. I would think its very collectable. HH Mark

When I was a lad we used to pick up golf balls that made it outside of the driving range. Some of them were fun to cut open. A few of them had this black oily stuff in them. If you nicked the inner bladder before you cut all the rubber bands off it would squirt all over you. some of them had a ball bearing in them about the diameter of a nickle. This was the one that was most prized. I guess you could find that one with a metal detector. Too bad we didn't have metal detectors back then. At that time I spent all my mercury dimes on the ice cream truck.
