searching for an old copper mine.
I have done as much searching on the web as I can I believe. no more info to be found.
The closest that I have got to getting "detailed" info is from this guys site and the pictures he has. http://www.stupidgardenplants.com/archives/tag/copper-mine-saltspring
I am thinking about sending him an email to see if I could get his help in finding the mine.
google maps are not clear enough to find any significant details.
I have talked to one local, who says that he has been up there and that it was no problem getting there. On the way home today I talked to a guy who tried to find the mine aswell, with no luck. I have researched what I could about the mining history in this area. very little info on this mine. I have read old climbing expedition journals for the mountain.
