55 in CT for my first hunt

hello everyone, I am new to the hobby. my wife bought me a cheap metal detector for Christmas. I have wanted to get into it for a really long time. I was so excited to go when she went back to work (i work from home). well Imagine how excited I was when I woke up this morning and it is in the 50s in connecticut.

I received mine for x-mas also and it will be 50 today and 60 tomorrow and I have not removed it from the box yet and put it together. :goodluck:

hey guys just an update. we went into the woods behind my home found an old radiator. a trailer hitch were still cleaning it up to find the make so we can get a year and we found a cast iron bowl of some sort which were still in the process of cleaning up
