*** Solved the fossil, it's horn coral. How bout showing dog licenses you've dug!!

Found the below fossil in a hole with a wheat penny in a wheat field in central Michigan. Anyone know fossils?? I'm sure it's common, but I generally don't find fossils that big. Okay, I've never found one that size.... Until I'm told otherwise, I'm calling it my fossilized dinosaur turd. A few other pics from today just for fun.

You got some old stuff...and then you got some OLD stuff!

Don't know the fossil, but it's an awesome circumstantial find!

I'm not in the 1700's club, but I'm in the 10,000 BC club!!! And take no notice of the digger ding on the bottom of the dog license!

it's a coral variety but don't know its specific name. Common in sedimentary rocks in Michigan. Yours is bigger than most.

No idea about the green piece, nice carving on it, and the dog license is GREAT! Those have some serious collectors...

Love the old dog licenses, I have found a few and collect them now.
check out ISALC (International Society of Animal License Collectors) we have a facebook page:D

I've found a few, but nothing that old.
Dog tax wise my area doesn't have as much history.
Those are some great finds..
Question....
Why are you blanking out part of the tag??

To fend off any devious non member permission pirates out there trolling my area!!

The only dog license I’ve found so far...
