Etrac at Beach

Looking for those who have used the Etrac at the beach for a while.

No, I'm not getting a CTX

LOL

How does your Etrac hold up to the beach/salt water spray? Have you had any issues with corrosion?

I plan on using a sun ray display cover for the box and a protective cover that covers the arm rest/battery area.

Wondering how your mileage has been.

I use mine at the beach from time to time and haven't had anything bad happen. If you ever need to wipe down the elecronicts of your machine just use some rubbing alcohol. The alcohol will not mess up the electronics, battery, etc. If you drop your phone in water, throw your phone in rubbing alcohol, let it air dry, turn on. Alcohol works wonders.

E-trac at the beach

I used mine last year at the Jersey shore with great success. Started with an ATPro but the E-trac seemed to be more sensitive. No issues with electronics etc. It's not water proof so I just went in ankle deep if at all. Great on wet and dry sand.
