If.... yes big if, i were able to weld like that, id reverse all the handle connections. id put the rod on the back so there was nothing in the way at all for a better foot pad, and the one piece brace in the front to better support at the bottom front weld. You weak points are at the top and lower front of the handle. I say again..... man that guy can sure do some work with metal.

I like the idea of the knock out hole, makes getting those busted handles out much easier... I see you're putting it through it's paces...
 
Sucks drilling out that swollen/cracked handle in the scoop tube. Been there... Think the knock out hole is big enough, diameter wise? Would a torch on the Ti tube degrade it in any way?
In a word Max...jealous! Wish I had your resources.
 
So you would need to disassemble to access the knock out hole, hmmm. Allen screws...that's different;) Got a pick looking straight back into the cage Max?
