I originally posted this find in "coin shooters" a couple of months ago but I think it belongs in "mind blowing". My hunting partner found this quarter in an old railroad town park and just got it back yesterday from NGC. It graded fine with scratches.

that's is absolutely freakin insane that he found that coin. :shock::shock::shock: Hope he doesn't sell it.

I think he's going to sell it to pay some vet bills. Plus he is well into his seventies and retired so I think there comes a point where "use it or lose it" comes into play.

Too valuable for me to afford based on book value so I wished him well.
