I will be in the Santa Barbara area for the next two weeks. It would be fun to meet up with someone for a hunt while I am in the area. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM. Have done this in other areas and have met some great people.

Too many hours north of Santa Barbara, but wanted to wish you good luck anyhow. There's a club there, last I heard (not sure if it's still in existence) . Perhaps your stay will coincide with one of their monthly meetings you could go to. If so, ask around for who's been detecting there the longest. Ie.: if any of them were detecting their beaches during the 1982-83 storms. Get ready to hear some doozie stories! :cool:

I've pulled silver from a few of the parks in Santa Barbara too.

We will be working our way north up the coast and into Oregon. I will be detecting along the way.
