Seas, I live about 75 miles from the launch site, and we get a great view., without all the noise. I live in Highlands county which as it says is higher then most of Florida. Once I was surprised to be able to see the shuttle from as far away as Venice, on the west coast. Last weeks launch we watched from the car off highway 98 near Okeechobee. Quite a sight.
