i am flying down to south padre island for the weekend. I am looking for someone who has hunted this place before. I am kinda of new to the md world i have had my md for 2 years and used it afew times but now I want to have some fun and find some neat stuff to. thanks

Don't know about neat stuff, but you will probably find what the breakers left behind. It's probably being hunted by the regulars, but they never find it all.

I live in Harlingen, about 25 miles north. Wife and I hunted out there last week during spring break. Gotta get out there super early...old timers will be combing at sunrise.
Just park anywhere along Gulf Blvd and walk out to the beach, maybe 50 yards if that... Good luck !

Maybe you can point him to a spot inland...? I don't think he is limiting himself to the beach.
