couple more shinies from the parks

Heres a collection of stuff from my last week of hunting.....
The boys scout stuff from an old church/preschool......
The indian from a site where there was once a 1700s house nearby ...
And a desperation stop at a park that has coughed up a bunch of seated coins for me in the past....I was 100 percent sure there would never be another silver coming out of that park, but I was wrong.....There were two other guys who showed up there right as I started, one with an old green Garrett, and the other with a newer machine with a sniper coil . They said they didn't have any luck there. I snagged a Rosie, a Barber and 4 wheats in 40 minutes.

Somehow I've managed to surpass my goal of 1 silver coin for the year by 22

......I'm shocked that any more silver coins are out there .....and once again I have no idea at all where I'm gonna find another one......

Bob attaboy on squeaking another silver out of a hard hunted spot. Did those other hunters see you do it ? Congrats on the shiny, passing your old fty record and some good old persistent doggin it till it pays off hunting. Good luck, Mark

Bob, I think a Nox might squeek a few more out of your sites. The separation and recovery speed make it an especially good detector in played out parks. Yes it's technically a downgrade from the CTX, but it's surprisingly capable, especially at good depths. In the end, if it's not there, you wont find it, but I've brought the nox to a few spots I dont even go to anymore, due to lack of good finds, and have pulled some good stuff out including silver and gold. Congrats on the oldies, and good luck for the remainder of the season!

Sounds similar to my experience, except the "bunch of seated coins in the past" part. Every once in a while, an old, hammered haunt coughs up another one or two, and some wheats. I am also currently at 23 silver coins FTY, and no idea where the next one might come from. :lol:
