Finally was able to pull a piece of gold off the beach after a long drought :-) Only marking a "14" no K or any other markings inside the band. Weighs about 7 grams, maybe plated? I don't know.

That isn't plated Roger... its the real deal.. some of those old rings were marked like that... congrats on that beauty.

I like it, plated or not. However, I'm going with the real deal too. Let us know when you know for sure.
 
Congratulation on the ring, and a hefty one to boot..May have been re sized and the "K" was in the way.

I hope to find a nice pinky ring some day. Would make me look all gangsta! (as in 1920s Italian, not 1990s)
 
Way to go! Some of the old ones only had the 14 deep in a square block. They didn't put k marks in them.
