My wife and I each did a box of pennies tonight, and were fortunate enough to find our 5th IHP for the year. This time it was in my box! :D It looks horrible as it is beat up pretty badly, but the date is readable (1900). Regardless of how it looks, it is going into the collection! We also found 20 wheaties, but no key or semi key dates.

Congrats to both of you on the turn-of-the-century Indian head, and on all twenty wheaties! Nice hunt. :waytogo:

Thanks Wolf Dog and Princess! This is certainly the worst looking one of the bunch, but we will take it. The oldest wheat we found was 1916, but sadly we already had that one in the book. Happy hunting!

I wonder if that coin was found by a metal detectorist and made it into the coin counting machine on accident? Looks like its got a green patina on it, which doesn't come from ones pocket  congrats!
